Super Car

SuperCar2A car that I created myself with the help of a tutorial. I used blueprints to create this car, and then I used materials using Blender software. I exported my car to Unity5 game engine where I can give the car movement using scripts made with C#. This is something I want to do for fun.

In Game View

Karian_PrototypeFist in game preview at the lab where Kadian is manufactured.  Stealing Kaidian and re-programming it is part of your task.  But first we need to create far more textures as it is not fully completed.  Our first walk in and hover prototype is working great.  Lighting and lamps work as we intended.

We have taken far more time to update as our computer’s motherboard stop working.  After 12 years of faithful work we have put it to rest.  Now we have a great i5 intel with 12 gigs of ram and it is working wonders for our development speed.  More updates to come!

Weekend Fun

Room2We had some time to spare and we had some fun with room making.  It is a welcome change from all that Kart and buggy racing coding.  I wonder what we can do with this!

Updated to GoKart

GoKartThis version is a bit more advanced and has a bigger map.  The trade off is this car is meant for flat roads so don’t get stuck in the sand and WE dare you to make it to the top of the hill.  =)  We also added new camera views and steering wheel.

Try GoKart Sand Doom

Controlls:  A/D  steer Left/Right.  W/S  Accelerate/Reverse.

Spacebar for Break.  C to switch between camera views.

Our Logo

logoOur first logo that will appear on all of our loading screens.  This was rather fun to make.

Life!

crane  Today I had the time to update our blog?  Maybe our record of our progress.  Something of the sort, whatever…  Izac is going to be starting High School soon and we have been getting him ready for this new change and this has taken all of our time including the time we set a side for creating and moving our project along.  As you can see we got so crappy that a crane does not look much like a crane!

We are not worried much about this as when things settle down a bit we can return and continue on and get this done.  Due to this minor set back I feel it is necessary to start from a small project as our skills with C# has greatly improved over these past 2 months.  We also found out that Cycles Render in Blender does not import into Unity3d.  This was a bummer since we had these awesome looking creations that we now have to texture in Blender Render instead.  This by far hurt the most as we were looking forward too seen the slick creations made.
